Surf Wax
A sticky board is the first step to getting a wave, so a couple of blocks of wax are an essential item of any surfers kit. Different wax types are suited to different conditions, with harder waxes working best for warm water conditions and softer waxes for cooler conditions. So, make sure the wax you get works best for your local spot.
If you haven't applied any wax to your board yet, start with a base coat style of wax (often harder waxes work well for this). Just lightly apply the wax to your board until it forms some solid beads, then apply the wax of your choice over the top.
